CARRYING OUT THE #GRATEFULVIBES VISION
The Christmas season is winding down, and New Years has passed. So to keep the season alive for a short time longer I want to share with you a part of my families Christmas. We decided to cut back on our presents here at home in order to help others less fortunate. After all, Christmas is the season for giving. A time when we should place our value on blessing others, because God blessed us on Christmas Day many years ago.

It began with my wife and I talking about Roatan Island and our Ministry there. Roatan Island is in the Caribbean off the Coast of Honduras. A few months ago the Island experienced heavy storms and flooding. Thru good friends we have helped a few Islanders that have lost many of their personal belongs.

So on this day Martha had the idea of providing food for some families so they would have a good Christmas. I'm very grateful for this attitude of my wonderful wife, she has a giving spirit, and I quickly agreed with her splendid idea.
So within hours I called my good friend Pastor Tristan. I told him of our desire to provide food for a dozen families and he was immediately on board. We are very grateful for Tristan's Church, Salvation Kingdom Ministry. We enjoy authentic worship with them when we are on the Island. Tristan recruited several men from his congregation, Mayron and Kelvin, along with his two young sons to help with distribution.
Tristan and the group made their way around the Island to those with the most need. Twelve families received a bag of food, as the Lord used His servants to bless them on Christmas Eve. Praise God for Christmas and the Spirit of giving He started with the birth of His son. This is truly #gratefulvibes on a Monday. It also feels great that we tap onto our humanity in helping out others. This also allows us to reflect that we must be contented with what we have, because we have a lot of things that others would just dream and pray for.
We can be their answered prayers.
