What is GoChain?

GoChain is a fast and efficient blockchain network that improves transaction speeds by orders of magnitude over Ethereum.

This means that GoChain can address the scalability issues for blockchain and DApps that are built on top of them.

GoChain MainNet

GoChain is not a dream, it is a reality. The project is live and ready for projects to integrate!

The GoChain Wallet is ready to use. Anybody can create a wallet and begin to use it for transactions. KuCoin has already joined GoChain as one of their nodes!

Use-Case

John and Sarah are working together to build a logistics project on the blockchain. They have decided to build a network that will allow the tracking of packages.

For their network to work, they need instant transactions as soon as a delivery product reaches its destination. This requires continues transactions containing GPS coordinates.

They started searching for a network that can accommodate their need for fast transaction speeds as the project scales. They also wanted to use a network that would minimize on computing power/costs in order to ensure that their project is viable. It would be unreasonable to pay high transaction fees every time they want to send GPS data.

After looking at alternatives, they set their eyes on GoChain. With GoChain, they are able to implement a global logistics chain that is fast, secure and inexpensive to run. Since they are continuously sending GPS location points, they needed a platform that could keep up with their heavy demands!

Proof of Reputation

There are various types of consensus algorithms powering the various blockchains. GoChain works on POR(Proof of Reputation).

POR works by leveraging a company's reputation to ensure security and efficiency. GoChain will choose 50 companies around the world in different locations to run nodes. This will create a blockchain with unparalleled transactions speed while still retaining the security features of a completely decentralized system.

In fact, a large portion of mining power is currently centered around one place - China. By distributing the companies in various geographical locations, GoChain addresses the issue of potential government intervention as well as the possibility of a 51% attack.

Now, in the case of the poster, things became a little more elaborate since I wanted to give the idea of ​​the elements already mentioned above but I needed to organize them in the best way possible within the space, and as always playing with the superpositions of elements that I had to have controlled by the time I put the color and other details necessary to make it look as good as possible.

Here I only vectorized and placed the elements to get a fairly decent result for me, although as you will see in the next step, things ended up changing a little bit later.

The Infographic

As I mentioned, being merely informative and not requiring much detailed information beyond what I wanted to show, I then set out to create the remaining elements of iconography (one representing speed and the other the blockchain, in addition to the POR) and I decided then that the use of color had to be limited to the corporate colors used by GoChain on its official website, so that it would then create contrasts between the background of various dark blue tones, with white elements in front that created a good harmony between them .

I wanted to place a suitable title and what better way than to use the one they mention on their page, which coincidentally is the phrase of a song from my favorite electronic music group, Daft Punk.

I arranged the elements and placed the required information in each place and in the end this was the result:

The Poster

In this case, I needed more time to organize elements since I was not convinced by the place where they were located, so by trying, in the end I changed certain things of the initial sketch which I saw necessary and really helped to give the general sense of harmony more strong to the poster, then I was arranging and organizing elements with the use of a color palette that I wanted to make as simple as possible, since I did not want to abuse the color taking in consideration that the GoChain corporate colors are quite marked towards elegance and formalism .

In the end I decided to create the character using the colors that are on the GoChain website, which was in the end a contrast that I liked enough and I could reuse for each of the screens in which the character was included and its description inside the scene.

Finally and after several adjustments, here is the final result of the poster:
