RE: SEC20/WK3: Typography and Practical Application.
Hello @pea07 thank you for participating in this week's lesson. We have assessed your entry and we present the result of our assessment below.
Feedback:
• You have clearly defined Typography the way you best understand it and I appreciate the remarkable effort you put into it.
• You did a good job with your mini research on three other typeface category you were asked to do and I sincerely commend your effort. Weldone.
• Finally, Your practical looks really nice, however there are quite a number of things i want to call your attention to, since we are close to becoming the graphic designer that we are.
a. You didn't do your arrangement of the the main caption well. You were asked to use the simple statement "Graphic Design Homework" for easy comprehension. What you used instead is "HOMEWORK GRAPHIC DESIGN" which is grammatically incorrect. You could have used "Homework: Graphic Design", instead. This is a bit cool.
b. Secondly, you seem to have combined typefaces that do not really get along, You could have just stick to the basic i.e combining serifs and san serifs or simply using a single typeface with different variant (fonts).
c. Your "SEC20/WK3: Typography...." Seem not to follow your chosen alignment position, it remained in the center position all through, every element in your design is part of your design and should be seen as such.
d. Take note of your white space and spacing between your element, if they are too far, it won't look professional. Also maximize the use of weight.

Okay, I get all points. Actually I wanted to meant " Homework- Graphic design" but I made mistake.
Now I can participate here with full preparation. I believe I am going to be graphic designer soon after this course . Should I work on my mistakes again and update my post? If you don't mind, I would like to correct my mistakes and edit an update, where I will only work on the mistakes, not edit the previous mistakes (I am not telling you to update my previous making on this post). It is just for proper learning reasons.
My dear, You're free to....I commend your sincere willingness to learn and improve. I wish you the very best dearie.
