how to use coloring in minimal logo design

in #graphicdesignlast year (edited)

Coloring is a great way to make logos stand out and draw attention. But sometimes, using color alone isn't enough to create a strong identity. In those cases, we recommend adding some minimalism to your logo design. Minimalism doesn’t mean no color at all – it simply means keeping the colors to a minimum. You might even want to try using monochromatic color schemes to keep things simple.

Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Choose Your Colors

The first step is choosing what colors to use. There are many ways to do this, but here are three options:

• Use a color wheel. A color wheel is a good place to start if you're not sure what colors work well together. Simply choose two colors and add them to the wheel. Then, look across the wheel and find complimentary colors. These are colors that contrast each other, but still go well together.

• Choose a color scheme. If you know what colors work well together, then pick a color scheme that fits your brand. Pick four or five colors and arrange them in a pattern.

• Look for inspiration online. Sometimes, just looking around the web for ideas can give you a lot of insight into what works and what doesn't. Search for images that have similar colors to yours.

Once you've chosen your colors, you should take a moment to think about their placement. Color theory states that certain colors should always appear together. For example, red and green should never be placed side-by-side. Instead, they should be grouped together on opposite sides of the spectrum. If you're working with a color wheel, then the complementary colors (red and green) would be placed directly across from each other. If you're working off a color scheme, then the primary colors (red, blue, and yellow) would be placed on opposite ends of the palette.

Step 2: Create Your Logo

Now that you've chosen your colors and arranged them properly, you'll need to create a logo. Start by drawing several circles in different sizes. Then, divide these circles into groups of three and fill each group with a different color. Next, draw a line between each pair of colors. When you're finished, you should end up with something like this:

To finish your logo, add a few details. First, add a name somewhere in the middle of the circle. Then, add a company name or slogan below the logo. Finally, add a date to show when the logo was created.
You can download free logo templates online or use a program like Adobe Illustrator to create a custom logo. Once you're done, upload your file to a site like Fiverr or 99Designs.com to get feedback from potential clients.

Step 3: Make it Real

If you're ready to launch your business, then it's time to turn your logo into reality. Print your logo on t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and more. Add it to your website and social media pages. And don't forget to share your work with friends and family!
