My frustration with Youtube graphic design tutorial videos - and how I fixed it

in #graphic7 years ago

Youtube is amazing for many different reasons, but I find it really shines as a continuing education platform. I self-taught myself Cinema4D, Photoshop and After Effect using nothing more than free tutorials found on Youtube.

But I do have a few pet peeves about tutorials on Youtube. First off, you've got to sift through a lot of bad tutorials before you find some good ones. For every decent tutorial, there must be 10 awful ones. My second complaint is that many tutorials don't have any English language narration - and worse - really loud and irritating background music! ARRRRGGG!!!!

So seeing a problem in search of a solution, I decided to take it upon myself to create a learning portal that features a daily curration of the best Adobe tutorials with english language narration. The site is called http://www.tutorials411.com and will be of specific interest to those of you with an interest in photography, graphic design and Adobe software.

So whether you're new to graphic design, or just getting started out with Adobe titles such as Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator - Tutorials411.com has a little something for everyone! The site is 100% free and I try to update it every single day.
