OneChain’s team is invited to attend the 2018 Global Developer Conference
As the first universal wallet in the world supporting EOS, OneChain has been honored to be invited to attend the 2018 Global Graphene Developer Conference held in Shanghai.
The 2018 Global Graphene Developer Conference will last two days, from the 5th to 6th May, this conference intends to bring together the top level experts , developers, investors, startups and Blockchain enthusiasts to explore the infinite possibilities in the Graphene technology.
There are three main blockchain ecosystems in the market today: the Graphene ecosystem, the Bitcoin ecosystem and Ethereum ecosystem. The Graphene blockchain framework also powers the Steem blockchain, PeerPlays blockchain and EOS, many other famous blockchain projects such as YOYOW, Gxshares,Peerplays,Cybex, Decent, MUSE, Ark, Scorum, Crypviser, Karma, Payger,ECHO,SEER, OneChain are also based on this framework.
The Graphene toolkit utilizes a Delegated Proof of Stake consensus mechanism. This means that the difficulty of producing a block should be proportional to the stake in the network.
Instead of mining (like Bitcoin and other Proof-of-Work systems) delegates are chosen by the stakeholders of the crypto tokens. Those delegates proceed to run the network with less competition and energy than a Proof-of-Work system. DPOS systems are more efficient and allow for extremely high transaction volumes, as demonstrated by BitShares and Steem.
OneChain’s technology is also based on the Graphene technology, and there are two reasons why we chose this technology: firstly, due to its better performance and high functionality, we believe that the Graphene is capable of meeting the high-frequency applications’ requirements, such as the chat and exchange; secondly, we are the early participants in bitshares, hence, we have a in-depth study of this technology.
