Please resteem this and help me reach new folks on this platform -- as it is, I don't sense that it is a viable alternative to Youtube. Feels far too insular.

    It should be THE viable alternative to YouTube, but the amount of spam videos for "food porn" or "photos of my vacation" makes it a pointless waste of bandwidth. We need quality, deep content and then it can work. Forget the Steem money for now - create GREAT content and this has to work for the long term to make sense.

      I agree with you 💯% as awesome of a platform as steemit is, not enough people want to hear the truth about the world and learn on this platform.
