Previously, at the start of the harvest in Beutong District, East Seunagan District and Seunagan District, Nagan Raya District, Aceh, from December 2022 to January 2023, the buying price for the farmers' grain reached a selling price of IDR 6,100 per kilogram. These areas are rice centers in Nagan Raya. "Because the quality of the unhusked rice was good, the buying price for unhusked rice was high," said Safridhal. In order to prevent the selling price of unhusked rice from falling at the farm level, the Agriculture and Livestock Service Office of Nagan Raya Regency asked the collecting agents to be able to buy harvested dry unhusked rice (GKP) for farmers at normal prices so that it is hoped that this will help the community. In addition, Safridgal also appealed to farmers in Nagan Raya to plant rice simultaneously in the next planting season, so that it is hoped that the potential for pest attacks on farmers' rice will decrease.
