WHERE
On the corner of Rue Saint Dominique and Rue Duluth, Montreal, Canada.
WHO
Based in Brooklyn (US), Sara Erenthal is a multi-disciplinary artist specializing in the themes of displacement, survival, and liberation. She was born into an ultra-Orthodox Jewish family that she left at the age of 17 to avoid an arranged mariage. Now, she is repurposing discarded objects thrown in the streets into artworks. During Festival Mural, she had an exhibition at the Museum of Jewish Montreal (still visible).
