My Graduation Journey 2024

in #graduation3 months ago

Looking back on the 4 fabulous years spent with incredible people, I can’t thank Allah enough for bringing such wonderful individuals into my life. My heart swells with happiness and pride as I share that I have graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.

I still vaguely remember my first day at university, arriving with my brother because I was nervous. I unexpectedly met my oldest school friend, A.S, only to find out she was heading to COMSATS University. However, I also remember meeting my lovely college bestie, Z.N. We first met in the corridor; she was with her sister. As freshmen, we were clueless, and to our luck (or perhaps bad luck!), our seniors started ragging us. Surprisingly, neither I nor my friend was afraid, and we ended up enjoying the experience.

Fast forward to our first group assignment, where the boys in my group were not taking things seriously, so I had to become stricter with them. During this assignment, we met another amazing friend, S.K, and became a famous trio in our class.

There was a time when I had my first argument as a group leader with another leader. In the third semester, I hosted an orientation. I’m not bragging, but everyone appreciated our hosting. So, I became the host again for the annual dinner, and that was my last hosting role.

Over these four years, I always tried to be sweet and never showed my bad side. However, I did lash out a couple of times, and let’s just say many boys in my class were a bit scared of me (and I loved it!).

Thanks to the fantastic company I had, my university life was beyond perfect. From those boring lectures to using phones in class, bunking classes, skipping quizzes, having fun with classmates, celebrating each other's birthday, giving surprises and especially enjoying my favorite spot(the university café) I spent more time in the café than in class.

To be honest, I’m not sure what I’ve written, but there is so much more I could say. As happy as I am to be leaving university, I am not ecstatic about leaving behind these beautiful memories and bonds.

I haven’t mentioned the teachers because that’s a sore topic I prefer to avoid.

Other than that, I had lovely seniors, and I am grateful that this chapter of my life ended on a positive note.

Now, let’s see what I will write next. I am the author of my own story, and I will only stop writing when I can no longer put pen to paper.
