The Story of a Persecutioned Woman in America who Died on the Day of Her Graduation
Aminah Jennifa Ahmed on that day was filled with happiness. The day she was a graduate student at the University of Texas, Arlington, USA, grabbed two degrees at the same time as a bachelor of Science in Biology and also a bachelor of Business Sciences.
Together with other graduates, the beautiful woman with the simple hijab is smiling and looking cheerful. According to his cousin, Shahina, Aminah spread many smiles as among the other graduates waiting for the show to begin.
By the time the event started, Aminah suddenly complained of extreme pain. He felt uneasy with the pain in his head. Aminah was forced to go home before the event was finished with her family.
Arriving at home, Aminah who was in pain fell asleep on the couch. But his condition even worsened in the evening. That night, Aminah complained of shortness of breath and seemed to have difficulty breathing normally.
Aminah's father, Shamsul Ahmed, then immediately took him to the hospital. But when he got there, Aminah's life could not be helped anymore, even when the doctor had not issued a diagnosis. Later known, the cheerful ladies on campus who are steadfast with his faith are suffering from aneurysms or abnormalities of blood vessels of the brain.
Aminah Charity Project at university
The news of Aminah's death instantly made her family and colleagues mourn. Aminah who is known to be smart and active in student activities never complained of pain before.
One of the inspirations that Aminah left behind was the unfinished charity project on campus. The charity project is eye surgery for poor children in South Asia, especially in the family's home country of Bangladesh.
Family and colleagues then took the initiative to continue the charity project by changing its name to "Aminah See." The search for donations to realize the dream of Aminah is done by the family and friends themselves and also through a special site displaying photos of Aminah.
In just two days, the donation of funds for the "Aminah See" project reached US $ 20 thousand or more than Rp. 260 million. Amina's dream of operating eye surgery for poor children in Bangladesh will soon come true.
Aminah's passionate passion with two titles while still active in charity projects and student activities inspires many of her colleagues to realize Aminah's last dream through a charity project she has initiated.
