Russia: Alexiei Navalni Cannot apply for elections

Opponent Alexiei Navalni Cannot apply for Russian presidential candidates next year because of the five-year sentence condemning him in trial-bis of the controversial KirovLes case: the Central Election Commission announced it in a statement. Last week, the chairman of the committee, Ella Pamfilova, had stated that Naval has no "chance" to be admitted to the presidential because of the indictment for unlawful confiscation.
