The totalitarian state is here. British police arrest 9 every day for "hate speech"
This new term "hate speech" did not even exist when I grew up. No one could even imagine that you could get arrested from what you WROTE or said. That would have been laughed of, and people would referred to 1984 by Orwell.
Today this is the reality we're living in. Most of is are silencing ourselves, constantly considering what is OK to say and write, and what is not. You want to criticize something on Facebook, but before you press post you think twice and you start thinking about well..what if this is considered hate speech? Will someone be offended? Will the child welfare come and take my kid now? Will I be stalked by radical leftists? Will I lose my job?
Real crime increases, but Police focus on "hate crime"
As the immigration from the third world is increasing, so is real crime. With real crime I mean rape, violence, theft and murder.
Absurdly enough in Britain, according to Home Office violent crime has increased with 19% since June 2017 and the number of rapes with 22%. At the same time the number of arrests has decreased with 48% the last 9 years.
The police blame budget cuts while the government blames the last government's debt.
Numbers made public by the Times show that british police arrest NINE 9 people EVERY DAY for insults on the Internet. In 2016 as many as 3,395 people has been arrested for "hate speech". The new law as of 2003 says it is illegal to "annoy or impose anxiety" on others.
People, this is insanity. The Police has given up, and all they will end up doing in the (near) future is arrest people for saying and meaning the wrong things. It's cheap and easy. While we just have to accept that we are murdered, raped and stolen from. "You have a problem with rape rates going up 100,000%?, and you're implying it has something to do with the massive immigration from third world countries?" Yeah..You'll learn to shut up..IN PRISON, where you will be gang raped into silence.
Why are we accepting this again?

Yep! In many ways it is.
I have not read the whole 1984 yet, but at least they 'worship' their own culture (or the Party), even though it is highly dysfunctional. In the West we ridicule our own history, culture and race. How crazy is that!
It's because our civilization is so out of proportions great, that the only way to explain it is to A) aknowledge that we are better than everyone else, or B) tell ourselves that we have just exploited others.
The latter is much easier, and more convenient for the elite.

At the same time, terrorists that go out and kill people are generally revealed as 'known to the police'. Post factum. If it's OK to arrest people for hate speech, how come they never arrest the terrorists they know about before they run people over or blow them up.
As for not being free to speak your mind, I'll have no trouble adapting to that. I grew up in a communist country, self-censorship was a survival skill...
I bet it was..it is ever increasing in the west as we are slowly heading into totalitarianism.
It's very troubling news, and all we can do is ridicule these morons in the hope that they wake up.

We life in a fantasy of freedom and democracy, and more to believe less we have , we life in a big 🤥were we are only numbers for the system

there is a fine line between ultra right and ultra left. It would seem the boundaries are crossing each other like a circle.
