RE: Steem is not just an ad-hoc corporate system, but also a prototype for a government

in #government8 years ago (edited)

My problem with your comment is how unconstructive it is. You also seem to think that you can just magic up the money to get programmers to produce good quality code, and also, you know that they have put an incredible amount of money into it, and not just them but the VCs who are working behind the scenes with them.

Be careful that you are not just thinking from a position of envy. You can look at the resumes of Dan and Ned to see that they have been working hard to innovate in the cryptocurrency scene, and I think they deserve the success.

Perhaps also you may not be aware of the fact that it is in their roadmap of the development process to eventually make the entire Steem system entirely operated by the principles they are proving in the Blog voting system. Eventually if you have the money to gather coders to produce a fork, you can do that, put together a presentation to market it, offer it to the elected witnesses and have your modifications integrate into the system. In fact, right now, if you wanted to, you can branch the code, make modifications, and attempt to get it integrated.

I haven't got a witness running yet :(

You should... you would be my first witness vote!
