Democracy is basically defined as a government system for people, people and people.
Democracy, as a government system, first appeared in ancient Greek cities such as Athens. The equality of the Athenians and citizens, who believed that the government should be about the people, was among the first people to introduce democracy as a government system.
It was claimed by historians that democracy did not officially come from Athens, but was due to other ancient cities before it adopted Athens.
