A New Low For the U.S. Government's Integrity

Hillary Clinton referred to a Democratic presidential candidate as a Russian plant.

Chalk this up as another example of something unthinkable even three years ago.

I knew politics in the U.S. was dying (meaning government gradually withering in significance), but I've underestimated the rate with which the people climbing its highest ranks would hasten this institution's descent.
