Ah, my dear, there are probably many others who can give you better advice than I can!
I suggest that you go to the "Search Icon" 🔍 at the top of the page, click, and enter "promotion" or "followers" or similar key words. I know there are some good articles here about that!
Basically, talk with people (as you are doing with me now! ;) and write good posts and visit the steemit chat site where you can promote your posts. Find some guilds, like @curie where groups help promote little-known authors.
