Where are You?

This is the first question ever asked after creation. It was God asking Adam. By this question, it was clear that MAN was lost.
Man had fallen short of the glory of God: to live like a king. he became an expatriate in his own environment. He had lost the LIFE to the devil. so he was told that he will have to
work hard to Attain the LUXURY
work hard to make an IMPACT
work hard to have FREEDOM
work hard to live in ETERNITY which is only provided in heaven because the earth was already cursed to receive him.

As a result of sin, God had to banish Adam and Eve from His presence (Eden). Man was separated from God but because of the purpose for which God created man( an image like Himself), God had to send his only begotten son to save man.

This was because man was lost and couldn't find himself back to God. Salvation was in two parts :Jesus dying to save man and man working out to complete the salvation process. When anyone accepts Christ, he is not immediately raptured to heaven but he has a work to do;To make an impact and turn other fallen men to Christ. This the reason why when Jesus was leaving he told man to occupy till He comes. Everything you are doing, be it raising a family or working, be it pursuing a career, u are occuping till u die or Jesus comes
