WHEN YOU POINT ONE ACCUSING FINGER AT OTHERS, THREE OF YOUR FINGERS TURNS AGAINST YOU!

No one is without flaws

Hello fellow steemians, after reading this gospel piece, you'll find it difficult to point an accusing fingers on others, we all are products of mercy and forgiveness!

I feels inspired to write about this today! It concerns the false gospel of condemnation. The gospel that points fingers, accuses, that is self righteous, promotes establishments rather than the Lord, that has raised demi-gods but has failed to recognise the True One.

We all know that story, it's about the woman caught 'red handed' in adultery, not fornication, but adultery! Let's read together John 8:3 "And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst" they proceeded to cite the law; the law rightly condemned her, it called for her to be stoned to death! To remove the filth from the righteous least the righteous be contaminated and err from their righteous way. But righteousness is not an action or a set of rules but a nature, a lifestyle. How could darkness overcome light? Just like Jesus was not overcome by sin, even so should we not.

The scribes and pharisees forgot that even though the Lord is Holy, He is also Just, Loving, and True. The institutions of her day forgot that even though they may not have been caught in their own ungodly act(s), failed to remember that it was grace that can save us and NOT by any singular act that we performe. Unbeknown to them, like her, they (the accusers) were also in need of the savour.

We all fell from the grace of God; therefore, rather than expend energy unearthing the shortcomings of the brethren, remember what the Spirit said "for I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Absolutely nothing!

**HIS WAYS OF JUDGMENT ARE DIFFERENT FROM OURS **

Too often, we wait for God to do something, to act on our behalf, to take a stand for us etc. However, that's not the case; as we would soon learn.

In John 9:3-6 we read "Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay," This man was born blind and the disciples of the Master thought the unborn child could have committed a sin, to be born blind? Really! Also, the same disciples, the disciples of Jesus thought the parents of the boy could commit sins and God would inflict their child with a sickness or disease? Parents sinned, then God inflicts their children with blindness? Who do people think the Lord is 'by the way'? They obviously, do NOT know Him at all.

Jesus' response let's us know that it was NOT the young boy, nor his parents, leaving only one person. You know him, it is the devil. Satan is behind many things that afflict the creation of God. The solution? Pray to God. Yes, and No. Jesus tells us something important, "I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is still day" Two important things jump up at us. The first, we are the ones responsible for creating the change we desire; second, there is a set time for the change to happen; however, prayer sets the tone and offers the spiritual guidance.

There is no perfect person,

John 8:7 "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her".

We are only saved by grace.
I believe in constructive criticism and correction rather than destructive condemnation.

I really enjoyed this post

Thanks for taking some time out of your busy schedule to visit my blog @gbenga, you've been an encouragement to many brother.

Thank you for reading and commenting, may there be growth in our intimacy with God and in our relationship with our fellow man.

Amen.

This is inspiring Sir. More anointing from above. I have a question Sir, can we judge to correct someone?

I think the post also covered your question and you also said it correctly.

They judged the woman unto condemnation, brought her to the master, master didn't just dismiss the case just like that, he judged the case with love unto correction. First to the Jews " cast the first stone if you're without sin" and secondly to the woman "go and sin no more".

God is a righteous judge and we are his children with his Holy Spirit who helps us to discern rightly and judge with love unto correction and our judgment is through speaking the word!

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
1 Corinthians 6:2-3

Hope it helps @i-am-sirtoyen?

Thats why some people dont like me to judge cos i judge from my judgement which is , why will i judge on this when i equally hav commited more than. Then i better advise and smile.

Nice one maxdevalue. Wish people will understand that actions are possesors, it can posses them to even do the worst.

@drigweeu you said it all, my brother this is a sobering understanding.

I appreciate you support.

@maxdevalue thanks for enlighten us more on these, we African judge quickly even without getting the fact.

I'm not sure that it's just a problem in Africa, this is an ancient problem that even gave the master some concerns during his earthly ministry.

Thanks for your observations and contribution @fr3world
