GOD'S ARMY CLUB: THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Many Christians today were blinded by the teachings and doctrines of "YOU CAN KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS" as it commonly pertains to a single aspect of man's life. Many believe that a false Christian have a bad fruit that can be seen with their life, their effects to their family, to society, their disciples or people they mentored. Most people were blinded that the fruit of the spirit manifestation reflects even to our disciples. But surely this is not so! Jesus Christ said in Matthew 7:15-17

"(15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (16) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit."

What is the fruit Christ is talking about? Apostle Paul gives the explanation of what Jesus Christ means about the "FRUIT." Paul in his letter to the Galatians explained Christ's statement in the above verse about the YOU CAN KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT. In Galatians 5:19-23 Paul states two different fruit of the spirit. The first is the ungodly fruit of the spirit that is:

Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Paul enumerated the fruit of the corrupt spirit that manifests in the heart of a corrupt man and even Christians are unaware of the fact that they are a victim of this blindness, too.

The second fruit is the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD manifested in our life through Christ Jesus.

Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Ephesians 5:9
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

So seeing all these fruit of the spirit we can identify easily who is and who are not Christ's followers as Paul clearly states:

Galatians 5:24-25
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

This statement is a conviction of Paul through the word Jesus Christ said in Matthew 16:24
"24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

By these all the disciples of Christs deny their earthly life and follow the life they had in Christ Jesus.
