If only Sherman hadn't found that Giovanni's son, Gabriel, had been skimming from their illegal pompom trade, Lorraine might still be alive!

Giovanni is the head of the Googlio family. His mustache demands respect. After finding out Gabriel had betrayed him, he cast him out. Gabriel took his anger out on Sherman, first sneaking around the house, scaring them. Later, breaking and entering. He tossed their home more than once. Lorraine came home during one of the home invasions and met her fate. It wasn't Gabriel's intention to kill her, but once it was done, he knew he had to get rid of the evidence. He torched the place.

Sherman, knowing who was responsible, eventually told the police who placed him in protective custody for the trial. Afterwards, he was put in the Witness Protection Program, never to see his friends or family again.
