The exact purpose of the buildings remains unknown. Kennedy calls them the "gates". When looking from the top of the structure resemble the letter "P". The researcher also notes that unlike the structure of a house or tomb.

The large structure reaches a length of 518 meters, the smallest is 13 meters. Scientists suggest that "gate" could build the ancestors of the modern Bedouin of about 2 to 9 thousand years ago.

David Kennedy is looking for ancient times using aerial photography from 1997. He had already faced with similar buildings in the middle East. Some of them were funerary shrines, some traps for animals, and the other remains a mystery. The scientist will publish their research in the journal Arabian Archaeology and Epigraphy in November.
