I’m just learning about this news. What I’m reading now is that Hoskinson had a significant meeting with Google but states he expects Google to go their own. That doesn’t really make it fake news but maybe not a reason to expect a partnership either. What does seem to be obvious is that google is getting very serious about blockchain.

I like Cardano a lot as a project, but it can do well on its own merits, I don't want people buying in on a false premise.
If you are going to repeat something you hear, it's worth checking it and making sure the information is upto date. This is very easy to do as Charles Hoskinson has been good with communication. Just go to Twitter or YouTube
