Google has been accused of giving less pay and allowances to women than men working on this company for the same type of work. It is alleged that Google has given less importance to men than in the field of promotion and other occupational facilities, despite the fact that the women working in Google's workplace have the right to do so. The leading company in technology is kept confined to the relatively small wages of women. Earlier, the first allegation was raised against Google in 2015.

On September 14, three women filed complaints against women from workforce for the past four years in Google's Court of Appeal in California. All the details of this information were formally presented to the court. Earlier this month, Google's gender discrimination and wages and wages of the payers were widely criticized among women working there. In an interview with The Guardian, one of the main plaintiffs in the case and former Google employee Kelly Ellis said, "We have been talking about this for a long time, but there is no change in the situation." He said with anger, many attempts have been made to change this situation, but ... there was no other way but to change the policy of the company without changing the lawsuit. They need to change the kinds of discrimination they have with women.

This allegation of violating the labor law was one time against Google when the entire mens technological sector was plagued by allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination and diversity. The US Labor Department has accused Google of breaking the labor laws for the first time in April and issued a written notice to pay Google a salary and allowance for a government investigation.

Three of the three women who filed a lawsuit against Google on behalf of many of them have specific allegations against Google. In light of their experience, they highlighted Google's gender discrimination policy.

As a software engineer, Alice started her career in 2010 in 'Google Photos'. The company employs him in the 'level 3' position, usually the position of the new college graduates appointed by Google. However, within a few weeks of recruiting him, Google recruited a male software engineer in the 'level-4' position, who finished Graduation with Alice in the same year. Level-4 engineers receive significantly higher salary and other benefits. According to Alice, he was initially happy to get a job in Google. He did not know anything about Google's discriminatory behavior. When the time goes on, he noticed that less qualified software engineers, who were initially at the same level with him as male's, got promotion at level-4. But despite Alice's excellent performance record, Google refused to promote him. He said these statements in the statement of the case. Alice claims that she left Google's job in 2014 because of this discriminatory culture.

The second prosecutor of the case, Holly Pies, started her career in Google in 2005. He worked as senior manager in the field where 50 different software engineers and product managers were responsible for managing them. Before joining Google, he had 10 years of experience as a network engineer. Yet he claimed that Google kept him in a non-technical post. However, the male engineers who were under him and other senior managers of his group improved technically, whereas the facilities were much more.

In the case, Pies claimed that he helped many non technical students to pass the test in technical terms. He also helped many male staff of his rank, whose performance was very bad. Everyone got promotions. Piss said that he was not promoted. Google complains to Holly Pies on complaining, despite her experience, she lacks technical competence. Finally, without Google's technical and engineering work, Pies left Google's job in 2016.

In an interview with Google's lawyer James Finnberg, The Guardian said in the interview that at least 90 of Google's former and current working women contacted him about the case and supported him. Such discrimination against women is very frustrating and irresponsible, he said.

Kelly Weissuri, the third plaintiff in the case, started working in Google in 2012. Although Sales had three years of service experience, Google appointed him in 'Level-2'. This is the permanent place for recruitment and the lowest level for full time employees. However, Google employs a male officer with the same eligibility as Wisuri, who is applying for 'Level 3'. Wisuri claimed that half of the officers working in 'level-2' like him and women working in 'Level-3' are among the majority of men. He also quit his job in 2015 due to the discriminatory behavior of Google.

There is no comment yet available from Google authorities. However, Google's spokesman, Zina Sigliano, objected to the complaint. He told The Guardian that the level of recruitment and promotion was determined by strict discipline. There is a separate committee for this and after the verifying of several steps, the workers were appointed in this company. There it is also seen that there is no discrimination against anyone. If there is any problem or discrimination then they are working to fix them. Because, Google is always bound to be known to be an active organization for all employees.

An official from the Labor Department of the United States, who was involved in an audit in Google, told The Guardian that according to governmental analysis, discrimination against women in Google is extreme. The discrimination in the whole of the technology industry is there. At present, 80% of Google's technical posts are working.

In this month, the New York Times published an in-house Google spreadsheet that shows that women are getting less salary and allowances than men in the same level of service. Although Google said on behalf of the published spreadsheet, there is no overall image available from the spreadsheet. There is no such information on the performance of the job or the kind of workers employed.

If this case against Google and the allegation is true then it is very frustrating. There are many cases of discrimination against women in developing countries like Bangladesh. But if there is such discrimination in the leading multinational companies like Google in the developed countries like the United States, it is a big barrier to equality and welfare of men and women. The barrier that limits the imagination of building a better world with the equality of men and women in mere imagination.
