As you all know, people from all over the world are trying to get rich by reaching the top on google rankings.
There are many niches, many products and too many people trying to eat the cherry on the top of the ice cream , anyway they all have one goal: To be at the top 3 among all google results for a specific keyword.
Long ago, lots of people made lots of money.
But since Google unleashed the wild animals to hunt regular webmasters with their new rules and stuff, those who still make money (MONEY) are those who still can invest thousands of dollars in AdWords.
I believe that Google treats better advertisers than the regular people who can not afford to pay for advertisements.
If you do not agree, try this.
Create two different websites in one niche with low competition keywords on their domains and targeted content keywords.
Try to optimize one of them using all of your SEO skills and dark magic you may have.
About your second website, create a campaign on AdWords, lets say with about $50. I guarantee you that the promoted with AdWords domain will get better and faster ranking data than your other domain. And this will, months after you stop advertising your domain.
If you think that the promoted domain will get better ranking results, because it had steady traffic and daily visits for a while, I can guarantee you that you can still have lots of organic visits on your non-promoted domain, but the results will be different. Once promoted through AdWords, any domain is looked with other eyes by Google.
