you cant google things anymore

i cant pinpoint exactly when it happened, but the search engines have become utterly worthless. it became clear i had to talk about it, when i talk to mom today, and she told me how much she struggles with finding information on the internet now. "just google it" is not a thing anymore. you dont actually get any information when you do. you wont even get the wikipedia page for whatever you search for. you will mostly get amazon pages. to some book about whatever it is. i cant really tell if this is a propaganda, or a greed thing. could be both. i use youtube to find info now. no point trying google. i know they are the same company, but youtube does not send me to only amazon. it tries to keep me on youtube.

we have gotten there, we are at the point where the large tech companies are literally worthless. truly think about this. it is no longer possible to google things. google is the word we use for search for things on the internet. a company that had a product so good, that it became synonymous with an act. is now so bad, its literally worthless.

we are very clearly on the edge of the break up of the large tech comapnies, you have been able to see it for a while now. there is more and more talk. but that does not happen until the companies become bad and disliked. this is now. my mid 50s mother have noticed just how bad the engine has become. she knows they are criminal and corrupt, no argument at all. fairly pc woman.

the tech monopolies are dead. run very far away. heavy new regulation, with lots of "discoveries" about privacy crime, coupled with the state of the product. this will fall really hard, really fast. could be any day now. we started this a year ago. was not expecting the product to fall this far. kinda like they know they are dying. "take while you can"
