Google may start selling your best robot
Android robot S-One, won the competition DARPA Robotics Challenge, you may receive in the free market. He was created by Japanese team SHAFT — one of the eight robotics companies Google bought.
As the newspaper writes Engadget, citing expert Gill Pretty DARPA (Gill Pratt), now SHAFT refuse further cooperation with the military Agency because I want to focus on the conversion of S-One in a commercial product. The robot weighing a hundredweight and six feet high and can climb stairs, open doors, Unscrew the valves and even... to drive a car!
Before presenting a picture of world domination, we must bear in mind that S-One is a peace — loving creature. Its main purpose is to help in clearing the rubble caused by earthquakes or other disasters, where the work of living people is difficult or dangerous.
