Well i still remember in Dec 2007, they had a Goldman senior stock strategist who said that in 2008, the S&P would be up like 14 or 15%. And we all know what happened in 2008. Their predictions aren't worth the paper they're written on.
They make predictions to satisfy clients, not based on anything tangible or real. Just like the analysis they are doing on bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
About the only value they offer is in business deals and in promoting their own agenda.
