This is my entry for the Daily Photography Contest, curated and sponsored by @juliank and @photocontests. Theme: Goldenhour Photography.

Silhouetted palm trees frame the Glasshouse Mountains in the background. These mountains are a group of hills that are very prominent in the Sunshine Coast, Australia. This image was captured at the north end of Bribie Island situated in Queensland as the sun was disappearing over the horizon.

The highest one is called Mount Beerwah which rises 556 meters above sea level, but the most significant one is called Mount Tibrogargan which has been climbed by many a climbing enthusiast over the years.

I really do live in a beautiful place @carey-page These views I have to travel about an hour away from home to see but because it is not far, I visit Bribie Island fairly regularly. Thanks a lot for your welcome support.

Thank you @carey-page You are correct......we find beauty and intrigue in most places and it is always interesting to view places that are very different to where we live.
