Imperial Sand Dunes
If you go about as far south and east as you can in California, you'll find the Imperial Sand Dunes, also known as Glamis. If you follow the dunes south they eventually cross into Mexico. While this is a haven for dune riders of every sort, I also come here to enjoy the magnificent landscape and a sunset or two. As peaceful as this image might seem I'm also about to race the dark back to camp.
