Lovely photos and such very different structures. Great line from T.S. Elliott to go with them, too!

The poem has been running around in my head for some time and it struck me, the contrast we can often see in our homeland, when we have returned. We have 'new' eyes?

Great overview. I think there is no comparison of both of the views. Each one has its own beauty. The buildings depicts power and business. Whereas the other picture shows sweetness of home and nature as well. Thanks

Well interpreted @attiyaomer yes it is the contrast between the glitz, glamour and power to the simplicity of home life.

what contrasting images a great entry

Thanks @tattoodjay the contrast is quite startling. tip!

Thanks kindly

Sunsets are one of nature's magnificence here on earth. That is all of us are fascinated when we look at the sunset. Vampires also love sunsets hehehe.

The photos are great but I love the second one because of the drama that the picture. I always love photos of the sun behind a tree like the second photo. Awesome! Great shot on this @molometer

Haha Vampires love sunsets! I hadn't thought of it like that but I see what you mean. Every day the earth gives us a wonderful show of it's beauty. We just have to look and enjoy.

I enjoyed the differences between the photographs you chose. One is very urban while the other is very homey. Both hold their own beauty well.

Thank you Deb, it is quite the contrast. One minute your in a swanky hotel and the next day you are home. Both have charms and attractions and both are quite different. And sometimes we see things with a clearer vision and understanding.

The light on those tall building is amazing ... they look like giant sand castles.

They do, you are right. I hadn't thought of that idea. The golden hour gives such a warm glow to these buildings.

A little slice of paradise:)

Ahah! that is exactly the point. But which one is paradise? @prydefoltz tip!

in my opinion, better the first photo, which uses your smartphone camera, rather than the second photo that uses the camera, Fujifilm finepix.
@Molometer.

Yeah the difference is in the technology in just a few years. The FinePix is 10 megapixels and seems so outdated now. The tech has come on so much.

yes it is very true friend.
@molometer.

Thank you for resteeming this post @anwars much appreciated.

Quite the contrast, in both the scenes and in the photos themselves.

In both cases the technology has evolved super fast. Both in the cameras and the buildings. These brand new hotels have every conceivable luxury for it's clients. Our home's are also full of the latest tech but the design is still traditionally... a home first.

Totally :-) As with all things, that which was once new will one day be old, yet within an old building the inside can be upgraded to house the new.. Much like ourselves I suppose ;-)

Like the golden buildings, like the quote. :-)

Thanks Mike, it's an interesting poem.

im thinking to buy this phone after watching these pictures xD

It's not an expensive smartphone but the quality is very good for photos.
