Lingering Rays and Drifting Wisps of Cloud … Chiang Mai, Thailand – Goldenhour Photography

Even without any spectacular colors, this goldenhour shot is sublime.

No swathes of salmon orange or vivid violet

This shot was taken at my regular swimming spot, just as the sun was about to dip below the horizon. There were no grand brushstrokes of salmon orange, nor any swathes of dazzling red or vivid violet.  

Placid pool

There were only some golden rays lingering on the horizon, along with a few wisps of soft white cloud drifting in the cool blue sky. And the placid reflection off the surface of the pool just added a nice quiet accent.   

All told, it was a fine way to end the day. And a marvelous way to begin the evening.

    Yet another brilliant and powerful shot from the master's camera lens. Even in the dark, the camera lens still caught the trees in the far end. The sunset in Thailand appears to be one of the best. Thanks for this great shot, sir.
