Another Gray Day, with Highlights of White, Black, and Gold – GoldenHour Photography

Even during the rainy season, we see some stunning sunsets in northern Thailand.

Forecast – rainy and cloudy … with stunning goldenhour views

With the onset of the rainy season in Chiang Mai, I did not expect to see much sun, nor many sunsets.    

But, in fact, we’ve had plenty of sunny days amongst the rainy days. Furthermore, the seasonal clouds have helped create some of the most stunning goldenhour views of my 10-month stay.   

Vibrant contrast

Throughout this particular day, the partly cloudy sky had given us plenty of gloom interspersed with various periods of sunlight. However, as evening fell, we got both at the same time – but with more vibrant contrast and with much greater intensity.    

Another gray day had given us another magnificent goldenhour. Location – Chiang Mai, on Google Maps
