Golden Hour Photography - Riverside Marina, Detroit

Even though I would rather enjoy walking out of the house and taking pictures of sunset instead of having to browse through my photo archive looking for one, I have no choice, but to do that. We haven't really had the Sun show up here recently, so much for spring, ain't it.

They say Michigan has four seasons, it actually doesn't, it has three at most. I don't ever recall experiencing spring in Detroit. You get your summer, a really long fall that I actually enjoy, and a super lengthy winter, then you get your jacket weather for about a week or so and the next thing you know it feels like summer outside, wow, cool, that was fast.

I like spring. I love watching the nature wake up from its annual slumber and change colors. It is the feeling of being hopeful and excitement for the future that it brings too, exactly what I need after six months long winter, ugh. Spring, hurry up and get here.

But anyways these pictures were taken in June 2016 when me and a friend of mine Rob were on a treasure hunt trying to score that empty wine bottle with a $100 bill inside around Riverside Marina, we never got it, turned out someone else picked it up a few months prior to our search, oh well. At least it was a nice warm day outside haha.
