Spectacular ice drift

Consequences of ice drift in 2013. It is a pity that this year there was no such spectacular opening of the river.
But there is still a chance - there will be an ice jam in the Poldarsa-Opoki section on the Sukhona river and bring the whole mass of ice to Veliky Ustyug.
