1 Pedro 2:24 que él mismo llevó nuestros pecados en su cuerpo en el madero, para que nosotros, muertos a los pecados, podamos vivir para la justicia; y por cuya herida fuiste curados.

El apóstol Pedro enseña a los judíos cristianos sumisión y a tener la actitud correcta ante los sufrimientos y problemas de la vida.

Respeto a las autoridades de la nación y a sus superiores, honrar a todos y expresar el amor cristiano a los hermanos, para que otros observen el buen comportamiento y admiren la obra de Dios en ellos.

Imitar a Cristo en el comportamiento que respondió con amor y misericordia a todos los que lo humillaron, maltrataron, ofendieron y le causaron sufrimiento, lo soportó incluso sin merecerlo.
