Ephesians 5: 1-2

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Dear brothers and sisters in Chirst

Today the golden censer gave me a verse from the letter of the apostle Paul to the Ephesians the verse (Ephesians 5: 1-2), here the Word brings me the message of the need to be an imitator of Christ in love. This of course must be reflected in the love of the brothers, they are certainly not empty words.

Our human nature is generally selfish, most of the time we only think about our individual benefit. Here the verse guides our life as Christians in another direction, the direction of love. Just as a mother expresses her love for her children, with dedication and affection. Thus God in his expression of love for humanity expressed his love for us with his Son Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross paying our faults, with the testimony of his resurrection. And now with the support of his Holy Spirit that accompanies each of the believers in Christ.
