Reflection message for Golden Censer:
Freedom through faith in Christ
Before Christ came to the world, God the Father gave his law to the people of Israel to fulfill it and thus live in harmony with God. One of the laws was the circumcision of each male of the children of Israel.
The apostle Paul teaches the Galatians that circumcision is not necessary for those who through faith in Christ have achieved salvation, forgiveness of sins and new life.
Well loving God is not a feeling, love for God is demonstrated when we do something good for others. Circumcision is not worth it, but faith in action through love is what the apostle Paul speaks to the Galatians.
The fulfillment of the whole law of God is the obedience of the commandment that you will love your neighbor as yourself.
When I do not harm others, I do not covet what belongs to them, whether human, material or spiritual, I do not speak to them badly, I do not tell lies against them, I do not harm them in any way, so I am loving my neighbor as myself, because I wouldn't hurt myself.
In this commandment of love the freedom with which Christ set us free is exercised, we are no longer under the law but in the liberating action of grace (unmerited favor) to enjoy it.
Begin today to enjoy the freedom you have in Christ doing good things for others and treating everyone with due respect, if we do this we will be fulfilling the commandment of love with which we fulfill all the law to live a straight, holy and perfect life before the eyes of our beloved Lord and God.
