When God created man, he created him in his image; male and female he created them, and gave them his blessing: Have many, many children; fill the world and govern it; they dominate fish and birds, and all the animals that crawl. (Genesis 1: 27-28)

God gave us the blessing of having children, it is a wonderful and great love bond, I had not experienced such a great love. According to Genesis, we must have children to fill the world, that is how the world was populated and the nations grew, by the creation of families.
