I am very familiar with the evidence, I'm just not familiar with any reports (in old papers or otherwise) of ordinary people or prospectors panning for and finding gold at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

Remember right after the recent Orville Dam incident, you saw plenty of stories about prospectors finding gold in the newly displaced earth.

If the store of gold is as massive as claimed, there should be plenty of gold seeping out as water flows through the largest canyon in the country.
