Precious metals vs Cryptocurrencies

Without realizing it, advocates for both precious metals and cryptocurrencies have been battling with one another each saying their store of value is the best. It’s like watching kids in a playground debating which toy is the best!!!

If we are honest, both options are a great method to have wealth outside of the system, now if they can begin working together their combined knowledge and wealth can and will overcome any Fiat Based system that is in operation and create a true open world wide currency that is controlled by the people.
If we look at both systems:
Both are against an archaic system of control used by governments, banks and corporations and both wish to gain value outside of a system where everything is manipulated, distorted and corrupted. They seem like a perfect match.

Now it can argued that cryptocurrencies have no value apart from the value we place on them, at least they have the freedom of control to determine the value for themselves, precious metals don't have this freedom as prices are controlled and determined by paper contracts alone.
