The 12 Gods of Olympus

In Greek mythology there were the 12 Gods of Olympus.
The Gods that consisted of them were 6 men and 6 women.
The men were:
Zeus
Poseidon
Apollo
Ares
Hephaestus
Hermes
The women were:
Hera
Demeter
Hestia
Aphrodite
Artemis
Athena

Zeus was the most important and the father of the other Gods.
He was the God of thunder and sky.
Husband of Hera and at the same time her brother

Poseidon was the God of the sea of the rivers of the springs and of the liquid element in general.
Had his wife Amphitrite

Apollo was the God of the mystical art the music and dance.
He was the son of Zeus and Leto

Ares was the God of battle and war.
Was the son of Zeus and Hera and therefore brother of God Hephaestus

Hephaestus was the God of Volcanic Fire and Metallurgy
He was also the son of Zeus and Hera

Hermes was the messenger of the Gods and protector of the trade of the travelers and bandits

Hera was a protector of marriage and marital belief queen of Gods and people

Demeter was the Goddess of Agriculture and fertility
She was a child of Cronus and Rhea

Hestia was the protector of family happiness had as its sanctuary the center of the house She was the eldest daughter and first child of Cronus and Rhea

Aphrodite was the Goddess of the beauty and love.
She was married to God Hephaestus

Artemis was the Goddess of the wild nature of the hunting and of the animals
She was the daughter of Zeus and Leto

Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom of the Arts and Prudent War
She was the daughter of Zeus and Metis
