Probably the most common form of punishment is a verbal censure. The advantage of this tool is its versatility and ease of use. The verbal reprimand must also be used in extreme cases and with great pedagogical practice. It should be applied only in the presence of the students concerned. In the history of education of all civilized countries there is a period when physical threats and physical punishment are used as a means of forming the person. The most important psychological-pedagogical problem in using physical punishment is that students become accustomed to it, which means that the intensity of the punishment should be increased, creating a vicious and tragical atmosphere. As a rule, the punished student draws the class's attention. Thus some students have a need to be a center of attention by means of acts that lead to punishment.
