Following the persecutions to which Alexander I and Nicholas I, and the pillage of the 1878, Pushkin's thoughts took on another direction. Significant in this respect is the poem "Prophet" written after several months of creative silence. It has a definite philosophical direction. "Message in Siberia" and "Arion " highlight the poet's faithfulness to the dreams and ideals of the youth, but the way of their poetic expression is different. After the decacaber period, Pushkin becomes even more poetic because he directs himself to the "crude prose", ie, because the external and manic use of the themes, the stylish techniques inherited from the previous ones, finally disappears. In his quest to overcome the "shortcomings of his damned upbringing." Pushkin turns to the themes and motifs of folk art, building on them wonderful works that reflect both the personal and the national. Few poets have managed to make such a remarkable record of the creative path Pushkin made in his remarkable "Monument," created just three or four months before his death. Nationality, antimonarchical character, international significance and freedom from all prejudices, profound humanism and protection of those defeated in a worthy struggle - so Pushkin sees the main features of his own creativity. "Eugene Onegin"

"Eugene Onegin" is one of Pushkin's great works that affects all Russian literature. Pushkin writes his novel in verses and expresses the spirituality of his characters in an extremely artistic way. His life in the village slightly calms him, but he does not change his selfish views. Oengin begins his friendship with Lensky, who likes him very much, although they are contradictory in character. Lenski loves Olga, and that fills his life. Evgeny notices that Olga-Tatiana's sister is smarter and has spiritual beauty. The author describes in detail its qualities. Perhaps this is how he wants to show that, despite the good appearance, there may be a great spirituality. On the contrary, under the beautiful appearance of hiding spiritual ugliness and simplicity. She grows lonely, constantly seeking her purpose in life and knowledge. She seeks perfection in the world of books that make her a false idea of ​​love. Seeing Eugene Ongein she at first glance understands that he is her beloved.

Eugene Ongein understands the thrill the soul experiences in its appearance. He decides to take the first step and writes to him a letter in which he reveals his soulful excitement and the deep sincere affection for him. But Oengine does not respond, as she expected. His soul remains closed and desolate. He continues to be selfish, not interested in Tatyana's disgrace. Maybe he thinks she is not worthy of him. At the celebration, Onegin intentionally courted Olga, and Lenski challenged him to a duel. Eugene does not do this purely because he is betrayed by his friend who made him attend the holiday. The duel will take place and there is no going back.
