General psychological model for the structure of human psyche: mental processes, mental states, psychic properties.

Psyche is a property of the highly organized matter, to reflect the objective reality in a special way, namely, by breaking it through the past experience of the reflecting subject. The highest form of psychic reflection inherent only in man is consciousness. It is the highest manifestation of the psyche inherent in man, in which the reflection of objective reality is mediated by the past experience of the personality, and through him and by the collective experience of society and of all mankind, thanks to which maximum activity is achieved, abstractness, purposefulness, adequacy, depth and comprehensiveness of mental reflection. Self-consciousness is the highest form of consciousness and mental reflection in general, in which the subject is differentiated, separates, self-aligns, compares and opposes the object, the nature, the world.

The traditional psyche arises as a result of a long and complex evolution. Its prehistory covers the development of the reflective abilities of animals that stand on a different lair in the evolutionary ladder. The psyche phenomenon is incomparably rich, incredibly complex and infinitely varied. Psyche is unity, integrity or a system of psychological phenomena. The man's psychic is studied by different models, but one of them is more important, and this is the traditional model. As an orientation and regulation of the activity, the psyche is a unity of actual and updated reflection. The mental processing of the actual environmental impacts is always based on the results of the earlier reflection already available to the subject and updated in the specific operating conditions. External influences are "broken" through the set of internal mental conditions - experience, attitudes, desires, intentions, abilities, etc. , mental images are not a mirror copy of the influences from the environment, but subjective images of objective reality. The environment is not only reflected, but above all transformed. Human consciousness not only reflects the objective reality but creates it. But to this man is capable not as a separate, isolated being, but only as a public subject, as a member of human society.

The psychic regulates the activity and at the same time it arises, develops and takes place in this activity. In this sense, the activity also regulates the psyche, leading to its constant change. Incorporated in the activity, the psyche not only takes the reception and processing of information about the state of the environment but creates images that are a prerequisite for real changes in this environment. The human psyche is inherently productive, creative, it goes beyond that. The human psyche is inseparable and comprehensive, but in its study it is divided into three substructures / main groups, categories /: psychic processes; mental states; psychic properties / qualities /. Psychic processes - this category of psychic phenomena is characterized by procedurality, which is why it is called psychic processes as well as being up-to-date and dynamic. The very processuality is expressed in the fact that all mental phenomena of this category always arise from some stimulus, which may be external or internal, both in terms of the organism and in terms of consciousness. Activity and up-to-date qualities of this category of psychic phenomena are expressed in the fact that psychic processes are always action, always available activity. The psychic process is the most active side of the mental phenomenon, it is the very movement of the psychic phenomenon - its dynamism.
