Bibles and other religious texts aren't banned from schools. Teachers are just not allowed to push their beliefs as facts to their students.
I don't disagree in saying that our politicians are corrupt, but what is wrong with our society and politicians is a little more complex than saying we need to put the fear of god in them.
I would say corporate greed, rampant consumerism, and choosing to do things because it's convenient (myself included) are things we need to address if we want to see an improvement.
