Australian Ad Depicting Lord Ganesha Feasting On Lamb Leaves Hindus Outraged

If there's one thing that gets can get people as riled up and emotional, it's religion and the Meat and Livestock Australia's (MLA) latest ad has triggered this very feeling among thousands.

The so called 'quirky' ad features gods, prophets and messiahs coming together for a grand feast, which promotes lamb 'as the food of gods' but it backfired pretty badly.

The Hindu community in Australia and oversea has been left fuming with the portrayal of he Hindu deity Ganesha consuming lamb meat.
