True Prosperity for 2019.
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17
There are all kinds of prosperity. These are good but have their limitations. True Prosperity is one of the good and perfect gifts that come from God.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
(3John 1:2 AMP.)
*kinds of Prosperity and their vices
- Physical Prosperity: This prosperity has to do with our physical being. Physical Prosperity has it's own limitations too.
Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, accepted [and acceptable], because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper. (2 King 5:1 AMP)
Material Prosperity: This is a good but it is unreliable. It does not satisfy. Can be problematic and it may block one's way to heaven.
Mental Prosperity: Wisdom is a defence and also gives life. Mental Prosperity is good but can be lost. It can also be problematic.
*The True Prosperity
This refers to all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. GOD wants us to prosper.
Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. (Psalm 35:27 AMP)
If you prosper spiritually, all other things will follow, like good health, materials blessings, physical progress, landmark achievements and so on. Spiritual prosperity brings in power, influence; ability to affect things positively. Know that Spiritual prosperity brings material prosperity.
If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.
And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 28:1-2. AMP)
Dear friend, other kinds of prosperity are good but come with one limitation or the other. This is the main reason every child of God should seek for the true prosperity from the Almighty God.
