Forget about STEEM or SBDsteemCreated with Sketch.

Hi friends,

Steemit is an amazing platform, but as many new users, I've made some mistakes at the beginning and I would love to share how I feel now after few months.

Do not think about money (just yet), try to invest as much as possible building up relationships with steemians and engage in topics you like. I'm not a great author nor a professional photographer, but there is still things I can do. There are many people out there willing to help. Be kind and nice, make friends and vote their posts and comments if you feel doing so.

Do not spend your votes on self posts and comments, you need to give in order to receive. When you you harvest your rewards spread love with those that are supporting you. I have been running some programs to help new users like weekly free SBD and #minnowsupport weekly join program. Everything you do should help you create and improve your steemit relationships. Work towards growing together, I've seen many steemians growing in followers or STEEM, SBD or SteemPower and not sharing it with their loyal followers.

Keep an eye on the market prices but do not bother too much, keep it simple, just buy steem whenever it is cheap and sell part (if you want) for small profit (hopefully to buy more in another deep) but try to power up when you can. I highly recommend 100% Power Up posts, that way you will always be growing SP and the more you have and the faster you increase it the more love you can share.

Try to be honest in your posts, you will be surprised with original comments and specially those who add value should be voted. When curating, make sure to perform a valuable comment otherwise it will be like just "liking" not actually impacting the post. I've seen many people dedicated in giving tips, advise and adding valuable content earning more than authors adding posts quick and low in quality.

Remember your most valuable asset is time, so it takes time to build reputation, steem power and followers, make sure that you also respect the posts from authors that dedicated a good amount of time writing, editing and improving their post.

Have a great day and I enjoy this amazing opportunity.

I wanted to share this Yugi-Oh card as a funny thought that came to my mind when writing this post.

Thank for the post. It's good advice!

Thanks for reading and leaving this great comment. It is funny how things can relate like Yugi-Oh

Totally agree with everything you said.
I hace writen some posts about this myself. But the more people saying it... maybe the more newbies will listen . Steemit is not like other social media out there. It us not about individuality and junt thinking about yourself. And it is not a race to be the best and most popular one. Being that way makes It harder to actually grow on Steemit. This site is more about how can i make a difference to the comunity and how can i help them grow, because when they grow, you also grow.

You explained so well on your post and i congratulate you for that.

Also, you said that you are not a writer.. but dude, you sure write like one! Haha! Plus, your English is perfect! How come?

Thanks for writing this post.. Pura Vida!

Thank you very much for your kind words. Have a great day in paradise!
