THINK LONG TERM
So someone reached out to me today and said the reason she stopped Investing is because she lost N500,000 in the stock market 8years ago🤔
So I asked her... You mean you don't have any passive income?
She said she will rather put her money back into her business.
All of a sudden I felt pity for her...
I gave her the little advice I could... While driving back home i realised there are a lot more like her...
Thinking about the paper in the bank rather than the value it stands for.
Scared, Afraid, Ignorant the list goes on.
Once they lose money once or twice they can't afford to try anything else... They give up and stay stuck.
Forgetting that making Mistakes is part of the process. You must learn from it and make better decisions in the future.
The only option available is "HARD WORK"
Imagine someone willing to work hard all her life... Just because of ignorance.
500k 8years ago is like N50,000 today.
I used to be in that circle... Work work work work work.... Get paid... Spend it all.... And the never ending circle continues.
The truth is, if all you spend is your "Capital/Salary/Wages.... Then you are not different from a labourer.... Working everyday for a living...
Financial Freedom will only be a dream.... It can't become a reality.
The beauty of passive income is you don't have to physically do anything literally(yes I mean that) to make your money work for you.
Now don't get me wrong.... You still need Active income... But let it FUEL more passive income for you.
Have you ever heard this statement " That man use to be rich before all of a sudden he lost everything"
Truth is the money was never he's from day 1.
It belongs to those who understand how to create wealth.
It's not about what you have.... Its what you do with what you have.
Delay gratification.... Invest in things that will outlive you.
Think long term...
The whole idea is to have different baskets... When one closes you still have 4 or 5 running.
Money is no longer on the streets... Use your brain.
